Trend Alert: Light It Up !!! (NEON)

5 May

So this is not a bad 80’s trip…. We are definitely seeing more neon everywhere.. From high-end retailer Micheal Kors to low-end retailer Forever 21…. Neon is on the rise….. There is a lot of Neon color blocking or applying a bright neon color with a muted or pastel color of the same hue… Also the obvious pairing Neon with a pale or monotone color…. I saw a pair of Hot Pink Neon heels at Aldo that are AMAZING….. I need them in my life!!!! Here are a few bright looks….

Day to Night….

12 Apr

For us ladies sometimes it’s difficult to take a look from day to night… But when you’re working with an outfit that has class and simple sophistication it’s not that hard. I put together this look for those hot summer shopping days with your girls or that late night dinner with your beau. As we all know color skinny jeans are HUGE so I choose a nice neutral sky blue by Topshop, paired with a nice buttercup yellow boyfriend blazer by Topshop, add a simple white tank top and a pair of Yves Saint Laurent heels that compliment the entire look nicely. To add that extra pop I paired a chunky floral necklace from my website http://simplystudded.bigcartel.com and a colored block bracelet. The entire look is YUMMY!!!

The hair inspiration is a simple ponytail by day and loose free flow waves at night… Simple chic and can be done with a brush, comb and hair spray/oil sheen.

Get The Look: Sunday’s Best

9 Apr

So it was Easter Sunday yesterday and women and men all over the world were dressed in their “Sunday’s Best“….. People were decked out from head-to-toe. Beautiful shades of bright, vibrant colors, lovely patterns and designs were seen all over creating a sea of color and whimsy. I created this outfit for the classy chic kinda girl. Who wants to remain fashionable however still look like “Sunday’s Best”. A beautiful colored block skirt in a lovely hot pink and khaki combination, hot pink peep toe shoes, and a white flowy blouse to tie it all in. I had some simple jewels in shades of gold and bronze to add an extra pop and glitz to the look. Ladies you can take any outfit from ordinary to extraordinary with a few accessories. The hair has to be flowy, natural and simply beautiful…..
