RIP to a Legend Whitney Houston…..

13 Feb

I am sitting here writing this post and I am still feeling stunned… Another iconic legend in Black History has passed away, Ms. Whitney Houston. It seems so surreal, as a young girl I remember my mother playing her songs and her sultry voice filling the house. Songs that taught us about love, heartbreak, and life…

Whitney had her share of battles in life but despite all that she endured she was able to captivate audiences of people throughout the world through the magic of song and through her God-given talent singing.  Whitney Houston is the most awarded female act of all time. She comes from a lineage of singers; her mother Cissy Houston, cousin Dionne Warwick and God-mother Aretha Franklin. Music was stitched into the fabric of her being…. And at the age of 48 years old we lost a musical great. I will forever remember Whitney for songs such as “I’m every woman”, “Saving all my love for you”, and “I have nothing” to name a few, as well as her dynamic role in Bodyguard beside Kevin Costner…..

The staff of will like to send our sincere condolences to Whitney Houston and her family.
