Soothe those Tremors with a PUNCH!

With all this talk about earthquakes, I figured that you may want something to calm the nerves just a little.  A nice smooth drink that would soothe the nerves and your taste buds.

I recently had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  I have to tell you that it has been years since I have had peanut butter and jelly.  You would think that it is only for children, but I have to say that I REALLY enjoyed it.  This got me to thinking about something else that I really love, Peanut Punch.  Peanut Punch is a drink that is very popular in the Caribbean.  With the right ingredients, and the perfect blend, this drink can take your taste buds to thirst quenching heaven.  So let’s get the blender out, and your favorite brand of peanut butter and bring solace to your tremors.

Peanut Butter Punch


8-10 Cubes of Ice

2 Tbl Peanut Butter (smooth or chunky)

1 Cup Milk

1 Tbl Sweetened Condensed Milk

A Dash of Vanilla Essence

A Dash of Grated Nutmeg

Blend all ingredients together until desired smoothness and consistency.

*Note:  It would be best to put the milks and the peanut butter in the blender before the ice, as it will make it easier for the blades to move.

This recipe yields enough for you and a guest, or just you if you are in a greedy type of mood. 😉

Mmm take a bite out of that!

    This sounds very yummy.. Do you think throwing a banana in there would ruin the taste?

      Welcome Raquel…Some recipes do call for a banana. If you like banana’s, it can enhance the taste for you, but a banana will also increase the thickness. This drink is already a little thick so you don’t really want to have to eat it with a spoon. It also depends on how much milk you put in it.
